I can roll over both ways!

So I have been meaning to post about Emmi rolling over, but wanted to wait until I could get a picture of her doing it. Do you think she will do it for me? Heck no! She rolled over from her belly to her back about 2 weeks ago and I still have yet to see it. So what did she do this week, she rolled over from back to belly. I didn't get to see that either. Stupid afternoon shift makes me miss all the milestones.

I am including a few misc. shots of her. The first is her half attempt to roll over for me. The second one Nikki took, she is becoming a budding photographer, Emmi and I playing stand up/fall down. The last one is another game we play called You think your funny? That one really makes her giggle! Which is so cute! I really need to take some more Nikki and Sissy pics as well as just some candids of Nikki. My time seems very full since I went back to work...but the girls are too cute not to share!

Emmi's Three Month Pictures

Here are the photos we had taken of Emmi and Nikki for Emmi's three month photo shoot at Sears. Sorry about the doubles, but Kenny took pictures of the real photos we received. As you can tell from the number of photos, it wasn't a cheap trip! Of course how could we resist buying them since they all turned out so great!

Cute Emmi Pictures!

Just some cute snapshots I wanted to share. Kenny and Nikki dug out and cleaned up the Exersaucer tonight for Emmi to try out. Kenny was lucky enough to capture a big grin from our little girl. She smiles a lot, but it is hard to catch it on film sometimes. I don't think we put Nikki in it this early, but maybe we should have to get our moneys worth out of it.

The blue seat is called a Bumbo Seat and didn't exist when Nikki was born. It is pretty neat because it allows Emmi to sit up on her own and watch what is going on around her. It is amazing that so many things have changed since Nikki was a baby. Time sure flies by!

Back to Work

Last week was my first week back to work since I had little Emmi. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Emmi is being watched by a wonderful lady named Pat that used to work at the Daycare Center where Nikki used to go. She was Nikki's favorite. She now does daycare out of her home. Emmi has adjusted well which is such a relief!

It is nice to speak adult for a few hours a day instead of kid or baby talk. Things are pretty much the same at work as when I left with a few new twists. The hardest thing for me has been the new routine at home. I have very little time during the week to run errands like grocery shopping or even putting away the laundry especially if I have a lot of appointments that take me away from the house. I am sure in a few weeks things will settle into a somewhat regular pattern and I will feel like I am getting more accomplished!
