Look at Me I can WALK!!!

Yup, Miss Emmi took off walking on her own on Monday. Now we're really in trouble! Watch out here she comes...

Breakfast Yum! 11 months and counting...

Emmi is growing by leaps and bounds both socially and physically. I have been giving her table food for over a month now. I am still feeding her baby food as well, just depends upon what we are having for dinner.

At 11 months she is 28 1/2 inches long, weighs 20 lb. 12 oz. and her head measures 18 inches around. She is still cruising the furniture and walls, not too sure about walking without assistance. She only has that one little tooth on the bottom. She is still nursing and unless she is sick, she generally sleeps through the night. What a blessing!!!

Halloween Fun!

We broke tradition this year and didn't trick or treat with our friends the Snyders, which was a bummer, but hopefully next year will be different. Halloween was really warm this year, which was nice because I didn't have to worry about keeping Miss Emily out too long and I knew Nikki's leg weren't going to freeze. The weird thing was that it was light out when we started Trick or Treating because daylight savings time hadn't happened yet. At first I didn't like it, but it did make for some nice outdoor pictures!

Nikki was a spirited cheerleader and Emmi a cute fuzzy ducky. We went around our subdivision for the full two hours with our neighbor friends, the Kolmetz'. Nikki ended up with a huge bag of candy and Emmi got a few things herself.

Carving the Great Spongebob Pumpkin

I swear I get a photo like the very first one above of Nikki every year when we carve the pumpkin. She really doesn't like cleaning the "guts" out of the pumpkin. Of course I think it is funny and so does Kenny to watch her make the funny faces she does. Pretty soon Emmi will want to help, so maybe Nikki can give that job to her!

Nikki talked her dad into carving a bit of an intricate design. If you know who Spongebob is, then you can make it out, if you don't then it is just a holey mess that I can't explain. Sorry!

It's time for the Pumpkin Patch!

I really love fall, it is my favorite season! So I love going to the pumpkin patch, watching the leaves change, wearing warmer clothes, and all the things that make up fall!

We went to the Erie Apple Orchard again this year. It is a nice, clean place to take the kids. We did the hayride, let the kids pick little pumpkins and check out the animals, Nikki played on some of the bouncer toys they had for kids, and we couldn't resist taking home some fresh doughnuts and cider.

Love these outside photos!!!

I just love the photos that my friend Tammy LaBar took of my girls outside at the park back in the middle of October. She has started her own photography business called Tres Jolie Photography, which means "Very Pretty" in French. Personally, I don't think any words that I could come up with would be able to capture how these photos make me feel when I look at them. :)
