Catching Up - Emmi's 9 month update - 10 years

As always, a day late and a dollar short... Miss Emmi had her 9 month check-up on the 13th, but as usual I haven't gotten around to posting the information until now. She now weighs 18lbs. 9 oz. and is 28 inches long. She is slightly above the 50th percentile for length and slightly below the 50th percentile for weight. She received 2 shots and barely cried for either, which was a big change from previous visits.

10 years...it is hard to believe that Ken and I have been married 10 years, but it is true! As we usually do, we celebrated our special day by going out to dinner, just the two of us. We are going on a cruise in December and I consider that our ultimate celebration. Cheers to us...10 years is a real milestone in this day and age.

Things have been kind of hectic, so I haven't taken many pictures of the girls, but never fear fall is here and that means pumpkin patch trips, Halloween, leaves, and all those other memorable fall photo moments. Until then you will just have to enjoy Miss Emmi with pigtails and a photo of us before we went out to dinner to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.

October 1, 2007

Now I realize that isn't today's date, but it is a very important date for me! It is the day that I will be starting my new position! I don't have anymore details and probably won't until the week before, but I have the most important piece of information. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and it is very bright!

1st Day of School

Wednesday was Nikki's first day of all day school. My girlie girl is a big first grader and as you can see, she is pretty happy about it. So far she really like her class and teacher, Mrs. Simon. She did exceptionally well transitioning to going to bed and getting up earlier, much better than I thought she would do. I hope her enthusiasm lasts all year long!
